This course covers basic navigation topics (e.g., using a compass, interpreting nautical charts and the navigation aids system, and using a Chartplotter), lines and knots, anchoring, docking, weather, collision avoidance rules, tides and currents, and several related topics. Each topic includes a manual (e-copy), instructional video, quiz/exercise activity, and links to online supplementary resources. A final “multiple choice” exam is included.
