Merit Marks - Canboat/NautiSavoir (CPS-ECP)Payday !

  • The awarding of Merit Marks to volunteers is a means of recognizing the value of what volunteers contribute to the success of the organization.
  • Any volunteer that contributes at least twenty hours in a calendar year shall be awarded a “Merit Mark” in recognition of their contribution. This is typically awarded in the calendar year following the year in which the volunteer was active.  Merit Marks for the period: Jan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024, would be recorded as “Merit Mark Year: 2025”
    • Merit Mark recommendations are prepared by Squadron Commanders, District Commanders, and Committee Chairs
    •  Merit Mark certificates are usually presented in the spring of each year at an AGM or annual event or are mailed
    • Complimentary Life Membership is awarded upon attaining 20 Merit Marks
    • New Life members may choose whether presentation is at a Squadron, District or National event
