Introduction to CanBoat/NautiSavoir - An Internal Training Module
Topic outline
-
This course provides an overview of CanBoat/NautiSavoir and gives you an idea of where you will find what you need or want to know. It was formerly known as Officer Training or Operations Training. CanBoat/NautiSavoir is the new brand of our organization which is registered as Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons/Escadrilles canadiennes de plaisance (CPS-ECP).
This training module is intended for Officers (Squadron, District and National), Directors and those members interested in knowing more about the organization. It can be used as a self study course or with an Instructor. In all cases it is most beneficial to the participant to actively use a computer rather than watch someone else.
All the books that make up the course, can be downloaded. Open a book then click on more below the title and there is the option to print the whole book or the chapter but this is not necessary unless one wants a physical copy.
Links to website resources are in bold blue type. Each link will open a new window so that you do not need to keep using the back arrow. By clicking on the 3 horizontal lines top left you can open the Table of Contents and move between sections.
Once you have read the entire book for a section a Done button will appear. Proceed to another section. You do not need to complete them in the order that they appear.
Please note, you will have access to the majority of links found in this course, but if you are not an active Officer, there will be some that return a Page Not Found message as access is limited to some pages.-
