Become a Member
Qualifications for Membership
To qualify, a member must have one of the following:
- a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Certificate (PCOC)
- a Restricted Operator’s Certificate (Maritime)
- successfully completed a Prescribed Course: CanBoat course or equivalent as per the Competency Equivalence Table
A scan or photo of qualifications will be required for upload (pdf, tiff, jpeg or digital photo – 4 mb or less)
Create A Profile
If you have taken courses with CanBoat (CPS-ECP), or have previously been a member, you may already have a profile. Click on the blue ‘Login’ button on the top right of your screen. If you cannot remember your password, click on ‘Reset password’.
Membership fees
- A discount of 25% applies to a First Year Membership if requested within 60 days of the student’s marks submitted after completing a course.
- $60 – Yearly Membership renewal
- $30 – Yearly Membership renewal for each additional Family Member
New members will be issued a digital Membership Card, and a small member flag.
