| With its Charter established in 1955, the Oakville Power and Sail Squadron, now renamed CanBoat Oakville, is part of CanBoat/NautiSavoir which is operated by the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS), a national, not-for-profit boating organization. The CPS is recognized as Canada’s foremost training authority in recreational boating. |

Since 1938, their mission has been to help boaters, both novice and experienced, improve their boating knowledge through better safety, seamanship, and navigation skills. Our experienced CanBoat Oakville members have been teaching a variety of these courses to the community within Oakville and the Halton Region for over 70 years.
