Docking with Confidence

Course Overview

This course will teach you to dock and undock safely in tight spaces and changing wind conditions. Master proven techniques to approach and leave the dock with confidence while protecting your boat. Perfect for: New boaters or anyone seeking smoother, stress-free docking. The $45 online self-study theory course is included with the on water lesson.

For “on water” lessons, the following will apply:

  1. You must have and provide evidence of your PCOC to the on-water instructor
  2. Bring your own lifejacket /personal floatation device to ensure proper fitting
  3. Arrive 30 minutes prior to start time
  4. Reschedule policy – requests to reschedule must be submitted > 48 hours prior to class time.  If less than 48 hours, no refund or reschedule.
  5. Inclement weather – Captains will advise students a minimum of 3 hours prior to start time if class will be cancelled due to weather or safety concerns.  Students will be able to reschedule at the next available opportunity


On-water instruction led by Transport Canada licensed C-Tow Captains.
